What is the difference between the SCE Workspace and SCE API?
The workspace is designed for manual use through a web interface. SCE API integrates certification, notarization and verification into customer systems.
What are Trust Credits?
Trust Credits are the unit of consumption for SCE APIs. Each Trust Credit corresponds to one generated digital proof, such as C2PA or blockchain notarization.
How many credits does a complete certification use?
A complete certification with C2PA and blockchain notarization uses 2 Trust Credits: 1 for C2PA and 1 for blockchain.
Does verification use credits?
Basic verification may be included. Advanced reports, audits or extended verification can be managed as a separate option.
Is the Vault included in Trust Credits?
No. Trust Credits cover the generation of digital proofs. Storage, Asset Vault and retention are managed separately because they depend on storage volume and duration.
Can I use the APIs without the workspace?
Yes. The workspace remains the access point for managing API keys, available credit, usage and workspace configuration.
What happens when I run out of Trust Credits?
New API operations are paused until you purchase more credits or activate an enterprise agreement.
Is an enterprise plan available?
Yes. A dedicated Enterprise plan is available for high volumes, SLAs, custom retention or complex integrations.
